I have heard it speculated that that may be a large part of their goal, to hold sway over shipping lanes and have access to natural resources up there. 🙄

Exactly! They all have to obey dear leader's "never back down' bs, even when that's objectively the worst possible thing they could do for their own goals. 0_0 People are seeing it and realizing there's no reason for these actions other than just spite.

Ooh, that does sound tasty. I got a mocktail in NYC last fall that was so good I came home & bought the stuff to make it myself. Super easy too. Ginger beer, tart cherry juice and a squirt of lime!
