I love Merlin! Are you a Cornell Project Feeder Watch bird counter? This is my 4th year as a backyard bird counter, and I love doing something that’s enjoyable and actually helpful.

I just finished “Karla’s Choice”, written by Nick Hardaway, LeCarre’s son. It takes place in the period between “The Spy Who Came In From The Cold” and “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”. I loved it.

I loved this book as a child, and have experienced that special joy of seeing my children and grandchildren discover this book as well. The love of reading is a powerful gift to pass on to the next generation.
