anyway the reason why i booted up my save file was because i was looking at the vivillon pattern distribution map and the one assigned to my location seemed unfamiliar to me. and as it turns out the only vivillon i even got on my save was the fancy pattern one that was distributed over wi-fi LOL

Going to Legends Arceus to get a couple other trade evolutions since they're much easier to obtain here. Boy I don't like this shiny hunting method but it works I guess lol

And with that I've gotten every Ghost-Type shiny I can catch in Legends Z-A!

Gourgeist

Love how two of the four trade evolutions I need can just be spawned like this in this game, only need Trevenant now until I'm done with the ghost hunting I can do in this game.

Shuppet

Surprisingly didn't have this one yet, despite having Banette in Violet. Was trying to hunt for the Gourgeist and this spawned in.

i'm not sure how, but it reminded me of the kid icarus uprising multiplayer. just the ffa sort of arena battling stuff i guess. like barely similar but enough to make me think of it.

at the very least the spewpa you get from a sidequest evolves into a different form, so the other forms are in the game, just inaccessible for now.

Thank you Legends Z-A for giving me a MUCH better way to hunt these on the Switch games. Got all three of them in just a couple days.

back in the day people already would know what some of the in game mystery gift events were because it had to all be stored on the cart for it to work in the first place, and then some of those events and distributions ended up not even happening lol
