Got my brownie this time. It wasn’t that great. But at least I got it. With a Christmas tree marshmallow. I’m so tired now, plus jaw clenched& stomach uncomfortable (not from food) but from the stress & noise of going out for a group meal and that even with therapy dog and very familiar people.

I was worried Stella would be freaked out by the light trail. But she absolutely loved it. We had to cut some of it off it as it was too much walking for me and Stella but we enjoyed it and had a German bratwurst after.

She is a pretty girl . She’s ridiculously fluffy at the moment. Shes finally allowed her first full groom so a lot of that fluff will come off. B is like no but she’s getting knots and mats and starting to hate being brushed because of that, so it’s just not manageable.

I had a lovely carvery roast and a brownie sundae with someone from the autism group, but now I’m exhausted again. And there are still chores that need doing.

No lights on our tree this year as we don’t trust puppy with any cables yet. The individual battery ones are very pricey. Puppy was quite intrigued by me putting it up but didn’t bark or growl at it which is good.

Our local council has had to suspend recycling collections. Sigh. They don’t know how soon it will be resolved as the company who provides the services has suddenly stopped operating.
Stella has offered to eat it all. I said no thanks.

Thank you for everyone’s donations. Your support was much appreciated. 50 meter lanes are a lot longer than 25 meter ones - unsurprisingly. But I did the 2km - in under an hour as I had expected. Yay. Still recovering.

Typical puppy. She’s been on over drive for the last three hours and now, boom all of a sudden she’s “collapsed” in the corner by the front door and gone to sleep. Thank goodness.
She needs a brush but was way too mouthy for that all evening.
