There are still a few Swans hanging around in Southern Manitoba...pretty late in the season but there is still open water so I suppose they are not in a rush☺️ #birds

this is a nest in a field across from a lake in Southern Manitoba....there has been a pair nesting here for years...beautiful place to raise a family☺️

I had 3 pairs of Evening Grosbeaks in my Southern Manitoba yard this week...such a treat!

overhead aurora with green and red rays...there is a thin band to the right that looks like a stem and it reminds me of a flower red and green rays of aurora overhead with hints of purple around the centre an explosion of red and green overhead aurora a multi-colored aurora corona overhead

They really are...nice pop of colour this time of year! Looking at the wayback machine I found these from last January...I've also seen them in April and December...very unpredictable! Always a treat!
