My warmup for today lead me to doing an art style study of ears of all things...well fennec ears to be precise. Animal ears are one of my weaker areas, so this little impromptu exercise really helped with that.
Which style is your favorite?

Oh yeah. I even forgot I did this during the e621 april fools thing this year. That gave even more restrictions, but those were fun to work around.

Honestly it doesn't matter what challenges we are given/impose on ourselves or even what medium, creators will find ways to create.

I already have some examples of me doing just that. I do it regularly too. It's a fun exercise as well as a nice method to get a different looking result

Saw this floating around, so I thought I'd do a quick introspection.

Honestly, it's hard to say if there was solid improvement. I barely drew during COVID, so I think I just got very rusty and forgot a lot of things. How I do anatomy does look better though, on top of me adding even MORE details.
