Rex and Ana, both bloody at naked, stand into of a large creature. It has 11 eyes that are clustered together on the top of its short, crocodile-like face. In its lipless mouth are exposed gums and gnarled teeth that are inconsistent in size and sharpness. The neck of the creature has loose wrinkly skin that folds over itself. The limbs of the creature are mostly human-like in structure, they sit on the torso similar to a canine’s forelimbs, however. The torso is also closer to a human’s, on the back of the creature sits a saddle; leather straps loop around its shoulders to keep the mounting apparatus stable.

Rex carries Ana as he continues to run through the streets of Darsov [Hell], she then asks a question, “Rex, do you… have a plan?” “Nope,’ he answers, with an overconfident smile. Ana’s face of concern turns into one of annoyance, “You’re just running to nowhere?” The couple then have an exchange, Rex starts with Ana following afterwards: “Hey, we barely had a plan for the bank heist! And that went fine!” “…We’re DEAD.” “Which happened AFTER the heist was a success!” “It’s only successful when you get away and LIVE!!” “Nah.” “You’’re so full of—” Rex turns a corner and before Ana can finish her sentence a ghastly sight reveals itself. Several eyes stare at them, the muscle around the unblinking orbs is exposed, and the surrounding skin is uneven and wrinkles unnaturally. The sight halts both feet and words, they stare up in shock and disbelief. Ana softly finishes her sentence, “Shit.”

The sight Zio looks up to is Rex and Ana speeding towards Zimpa and himself. Before he can react the couple hit the pavement so hard an explosion of blood erupts from the place they landed. The shockwave from the sudden stop knocks Zio’s hair backward and jostles his glasses. Unknowingly, Zimpa cartoonishly jettisoned into the air from the shock and avoided the wave of blood that drenched her friend. Zio catches her unwittingly as he’s rocked from the horrifying event, they look like Shaggy and Scooby-Doo after a scare. Zimpa has an irritated expression on her face, “Maybe SAY somethin’ next time?! Zio! Ugh…”

Illustrated is Rex’s descent into Darsov, this world’s equivalent of hell. At first he is surrounded by darkness, a few moments later a small white dot appears in the distance. It rapidly expands slowly at first, but soon comes roaring forward and replacing the vast emptiness Rex was stuck in. Along with the light comes clouds, and for a fleeting moment, it’s the most beautiful and serene he has ever seen. The tranquility quickly leaves his memory as he breaks through the clouds and realizes he’s falling through the sky. He is above a familiar city and on the course to crash onto the concrete, there’s nothing to soften his fall, as if he’d survive a fall from so high up anyways. He sees the detail of the painted lines in the road, the texture of a worn street isn’t what he wanted to be his last memory of life. And it’s not. Soon the dirt and stone beneath the road rushes by, he looks down to see that he’s still barreling even farther down, down into another dark void. Light disappears again, the roar of rushing wind has fallen still, and Rex is left devoid of any stimuli and unsure whether or not he’s moving at all.

CARE.” With a snap of his fingers Rex disappears like a subsiding fog, Arvint is displeased with the devil’s action, “Very unprofessional,” he says in an accusatory tone. The two exchange glares, after a moment Zyto blushes with a coy expression, “Callin’ me a bad boy?” “Maybe,” Arvint remarks quietly.

The man’s jaw drops, and even though he wants to scream, no sound comes out of his mouth. The devil is quickly annoyed, “SHUT THE FUCK UP!!” He demands, as if he can hear the screaming coming from the man’s head. He quickly covers his mouth in shock, “Did I really scream?!” The man is unsure if he actually made a noise, he could hear the screaming in his head but couldn’t feel it coming out. The devil, Zyto, answers, “We can hear your thoughts, dude…” confirming that the man doesn’t need to say a word for them to hear him. “Correct. There is no inner monologue here,” the angel confirms. As the two take turns responding to the man’s question and sorting out paperwork the man screams again, to his horror his phantom-like hand has pulled away from the rest of his arm, remaining over his mouth. The angel and devil have an exchange after seeing the man continue his distraught cries. Zyto starts first. “Fuck’s sake.” “Oh, he’s reverting back now.” “Let’s get this over with, Arvint.”

The bike the duo were riding is soaring through the air, it is missing both passengers. The vehicle that was gaining on them has crashed into a jagged rock formation and exploded. As the vehicle barrels towards them a large collection of energy begins to form at the front of the ‘gun’. The woman’s iris changes as she lines up her shot, it has widened significantly and a brilliant white light emanates from the center. Suddenly the bike hit a massive pothole in the road, causing the woman to jostle violently and accidentally discharge her weapon. Rather than being sent towards the pursuing vehicle, it lands right behind the fleeing duo. They both let out an explicit word that is interrupted by a sudden burst of energy.
