A great first couple of days back... the start of the academic year is a time of reconnecting and professional learning. It has been a joy to be with early years teams in Croydon and Wolverhampton.

Just got off a long flight to find out this sad news. She was such an inspiration. For me she lit a flame in me to see children as rich and competent and as subjects with rights, citizens of now and not just their future. I’m heart broken but thankful for her wisdom, kindness and thinking.

Transitioning to here from ‘that’ other place and keen to link and connect with others in ECE to learn, think and work together. All things early years but fascinated with the power of the arts, creativity and pedagogies which support participation, listening and thinking through materials.
