Gorgeous

So something I’m gonna have to learn how to do pretty soon. I’m working on a gnome pattern and it has this as a belt.

Damn!!!! This is incredibly meta. What a fabulous idea and it in itself is a fantastic piece of artwork/poetry.

Wow. I’m super impressed and inspired.

Thank you so much for typing your method and the end poem!!!!

I’m used to top down sweaters that have GSR that bring the back up. And they do fit much better. The couple of bottom up I’ve made also had a raised rear neckline.

Ya. Holidays are hard in so many way. I too get socially burnt out. And then have to retreat to video games after the holidays to recharge.

How do you recharge? Knitting?

The top of that hat where the decreases lineup is absolutely spectacular. And your knitting is fantastic.

I learned years ago, not to knit before bed. I make too many mistakes. This is me and reading.

Now that I’ve typed that, I wonder if that’s why I make too many mistakes when I’m knitting before bed. Because I’m too tired from reading until one night before. 🤭

Ya, I agree with the other comment, stunning.

Would you be willing to paste the poem in here? Or at least your abstraction because my brain is hyper focusing. 😆

An absolutely beautiful explanation. Well done. I could’ve used this a couple of years ago when I was trying to figure this out from a different source. lol!

Yes!!!!! I just finished a project I started in 2017. I had it hibernating in my stash, found it, and decided to finally finish it. I’m wearing it today and it feels like an accomplishment!!!

Fingering weight. You’re brave. I made a worst weight earlier this week or last week or whatever. I absolutely love this pattern.

I’m really good at looking at a pattern and re-creating it so I’m gonna see if I can make something similar in the next year. I have a lot on my needles right now. Probably the most WIPs I’ve ever had at one time. lol

I think peri-menopause is giving me ADHD 😆

I absolutely love the idea of picking up stitches and adding the collar. I also have had the problem of the dog sweaters riding down. I think it just goes with the direction of their fur which is down and their sweaters always end up around their shoulders really awkwardly. lol

Can I find this on ravelry?
