Pretty sure it was the late 90s. They were broadcast during shows like Degrassi.

I think they ran them on a lot of kids and YA shows to teach media literacy. Mostly on CBC. I had kids and YAs then.

I’m on the top of a hill in Granger. Through the trees, I look down on the airport. Super windy here all afternoon. Interesting explanation for this the replies!

Most of the ravens here are unarmed. As I’m sure you know it is harder to buy guns here than it is in AK. I couldn’t resist either 🤣🤣

Good work takes time- tho I’m amazed at how fast some of the Elders I know here can make a pair of gorgeous slippers.I took up beading when I moved here 15 yrs ago. Did a lot of embroidery previously so not too hard to pick up. Getting good takes time. Make sure to post your sash when it is done

Ooh, a sash behind that will look awesome. Are you going to bead it, or put the poppy on a woven one?

Gorgeous. I live in the Yukon and we are on night 2 of being totally socked in with freezing fog. No massive aurora for us. Sigh…

Thanks! I’m a generation older than you, thinking about being told I shouldn’t run or be out alone 50 plus years ago! And angry about it.

And why didn’t he resign after this showing!
November 4, 2025 at 6:12 AM
Yes I also noted that. Also noted he that when he thanked a former minister’s wife, he didn’t mention her name. Called her the ‘favourite wife’. Are we back in the 60s and 70s??

They also have great kitchen & garden stuff, seasonal decorations, paint & plumbing supplies, exercise equipment, & all manner of hunting, paddling, sport and fishing equipment. Something for everyone- says woman who likes camping with husband who does the cooking. Canadian Tire is awesome!

How is it acceptable for a wanna be PM to undermine our institutions (CBC, the courts/justices, etc &now the RCMP) & suggest that his former political opponents should be jailed? Are our institutions perfect? No. Are they all under direct govt influence? Also no. No MAGA here pls.

Frobisher is credited with the first Thanksgiving in Nunavut in the 16th century. He and his crew were giving thanks for their safe arrival on land. Apparently there is some controversy over whether this ‘counts’ as Thanksgiving
