I struggle to think of someone whose case has been more thoroughly and completely discredited by the last 30 years than Fukuyama.
Not to mention he bears at least a sliver of responsibility for our current crisis by injecting such complacency into the Liberal Mainstream.

I tried Moxie like two years back and it was...fine. Like nothing I'd run out for, but after all of the horror stories I was imagining it would taste like bubbling tar mixed with baking soda.

My Mother read that lemon-lime soda was good for sick kids and got 7-Up for me whenever I and my siblings came down with something.
To this day I associate it with medicine and get a craving for 7-Up when I come down with an illness, and can't stand it at any other time.

So as religion fades amongst those who would've been monks, it makes sense that secular theologians would continue this with the most popular literature of our age.
