Hi besties quick update!
The FIV test for kitty was a false positive bc she was vaccinated for it at the shelter before I got her. Further testing indicates she does not have it 🙌 she has elevated white blood cells so her immune system is fighting something but it’s not FIV thank god 😭😭

Last night we found out that Pumpkin has feline leukemia and I’m not taking the news very well 😥 we have to do more testing to decide next steps but my heart hurts so bad

be careful not to treat your own community like your enemy. save that energy for combating true malicious hate, of which there is plenty, not differences in opinion. nuance is tough on the internet especially in our justice sensitive neurodivergent community. two things can be true.
