I'm not a fan of Wes Anderson. His films irritate me to be honest. I've never walked out of a film but The French Dispatch pushed me close.

Apologies for that, I meant shoulder of course. I had been watching a video of an infamous rugby league forearm smash on the original poster's feed......must have stuck in my head! Been a long day.

I disagree. I don't think there's anything clear about it. His arm is tucked in and there's direct contact to the head. I think it should have been a straight red. I agree with your latter statement but think the justification from the officials for the decision was baffling.

I don't agree with that at all. Clear contact to the head with his forearm. No duty of care. Straight red.

Many years ago I used to quite like reading Stephen Jones' column but he has turned into a caricature. Just writes absolute drivel and is so pompous and self-righteous too. I remember him berating people on the other site if they didn't have many followers even if they made a good point.

My son is just finishing his degree at Sydney University. He's not coming back to NZ. He looked at a couple of grad jobs here which were effectively paying about the same as he gets for coaching basketball in Sydney. He loves it there.

Really glad Australia have smashed this. Some of the bullshit from the English after the first day was ridiculous. You'd swear they'd won the Ashes already!

He was basically saying England would stroll to victory earlier because Australia wouldn't be able to cope with their 5 pronged pace attack. He also said England would get 300 plus.
