The Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow model now estimates U.S. real GDP growth for Q1 at -2.8%, down even further from last week’s forecast of -1.5%.

Just a month ago, the estimate was about +4%.

This is absolutely insane.
Hey everyone -- Moms of Liberty and Dept of Education launched a snitch line portal today to rat out teachers and anyone promoting anything DEI.

FLOOD THE PORTAL

Spam the hell out of it.

Pass it on! It works!

Something that’s very clear is that Trump is old and checked out. He wants to play the role of president but has zero interest in doing the job and is happy to outsource the real work to Musk, Vought and a crew of feral zealots.

The richest person who has ever lived has simply decided, out of a combination of boredom, resentment, and a thirst for power, that hundreds of thousands of the poorest children in the world should starve to death and an entire political party thinks that's just fine. bsky.app/profile/greg...
Awful: Delivery of life saving treatment to nearly 400,000 severely malnourished kids abroad is in doubt amid USAID firings, the product's manufacturers tell me.

The treatment is a paste made of peanuts, milk and sugar for kids on edge of starvation.

Two U.S. nonprofits that manufacture a treatment sent by USAID to help severely malnourished children abroad say the process is in chaos. This isn’t what Marco Rubio said would happen.

Holy shit. This is scary.

Senator Chris Murphy just revealed on the Senate floor that Republicans now have the votes to cut $2 trillion in services for seniors on Medicare and kids on Medicaid. Tomorrow is the House’s vote.

$2 TRILLION IN CUTS.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.
