Recently worked on a footnotes feature in Umbraco CMS and I'm now trying to improve it by creating a way to pick the link to the footnote and also surface the contents through a popover similar to Wikipedia. When there are 30 or 40 footnotes maintenance can be exceptionally time consuming.

Thanks @jacksorjacksor.bsky.social - can't wait for full release of V17 to start playing around with web components in the backoffice. It's a real game changer, I'm hoping to see some great UX improvements with the new capability.
