This FDM printing thing is going surprisingly smoothly for having barely looked up any guides related to it.
I sure hope nothing goes drastically wrong soon...

Think of the musician who wrote this song 400 years ago. Think of them writing it down, folding up the paper, putting it away, losing that paper at some point — never knowing that the last time they played it wouldn’t be the last time someone heard their music.

Hey buddy. I really like your song.
Lynda Sayce plays a piece of lute music that was recently discovered in an archival document at the Museum Plantin-Moretus. Since the handwritten lute tablature was folded and reused as scrap paper, it's problaby the first time in 400 years that this music is heard.

Some of the best Warhammer players in the world are boycotting a championship in the U.S. over our embrace of fascism. One Belgian player cited specifically legal actions against trans people as one reason he will not participate.

Nice to see.

GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references.

Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

Imagine if they controlled all the media?

If every company, every newspaper, and every website kissed the ring. Imagine if they controlled where we got our news, how we talked to one another, how we shared everything about our lives, where we met and laughed and organized.

Imagine that.
