👀 Jade Archer showed how eye-tracking can be used to reveal which object categories babies recognise early in life
🧠 Dr Kelsey Frewin gave a talk on how machine learning + EEG can tap into infants’ brain activity to uncover what infants already know about categories—even before they can tell us!

Led by Prof Teodora Gliga, the team (Dr Nadja Althaus, Barbara Zapior, Jade Archer & Dr Kelsey Frewin) showcased some of their latest work on how babies learn about object categories:
💬 Barbara Zapior used head-mounted eye-tracking to explore how language shapes category learning in infants.
