There’s a through line from how Hollywood depicts Latinos, particularly men, and Trump coming down that escalator and calling us rapists and murderers. I saw a preview for a 2021 Liam Neesen movie on Netflix the other day where he was fighting with a drug cartel guy stereotype called “Pancho.”

Why are people going crazy over Trump being nice in person? He’s done this constantly, especially with the men. He’s usually only confrontational and mean with his political opponents at his rallies or on his Truth Social app at 4 am.
