Got tired of the looks I was getting (more the privilege the right took upon itself to openly and without any sense of decency, comment negativitely about others) when wearing the red version. Whipped this up a week ago and it arrived yesterday.

Reality of weather at the new place. Not having lived along Lakes Erie and Ontario, coming to terms with the reality of lake effect snow is a cold hard slap in the face. Schools just over the state line in MI are canceling school for tomorrow, and the mythical THUNDERSNOW up near Grand Rapids.

Toyota’s decision to end its sponsorship of several NHRA teams at the end of 2025 defies explanation. Their sales aren’t appreciably down, the teams are thriving, and Toyota is adding cars in other racing series.

Some snow on the drive to SBN today. Aside from a couple of dozen cars in the ditch/against the center divider in Iowa, and the 20 minute standstill near Atalissa, it was speed limit or better. I don’t think I’ve ever gone through Chicago faster. Someone was definitely looking out for me.)
