Right. I wasn't planning on liking this game, but just finished up the Road Trip mode and then got obsessed with all these little challenges.

Getting stuck causes players to explore the world.

Dying causes players to think about what they're doing.

An "impossible" situation causes players to learn how the game works and eventually achieve the impossible.

We need to be able to design *some* games around these fundamental ideas.

If I had to guess, it probably also makes a difference whether you've always been video or if it's a new thing. Most listeners probably aren't going to change their habits to become watchers.

We break down to 63% YT, 21% audio download, 11% Spotify audio, 5% Spotify video. I imagine a big chunk of that YT audience is listening in the background, but there are quite a fair number of comments about things that happened on-screen.
