Me: Lean (1% fat) ground turkey, onion, garlic, grated carrots and parsnips in a passatta (strained tomatoes) sauce. Served on quinoa and chopped arugula (all I had) to balance the colors.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and agree that many of these are basic manners: Greeting everyone; saying "ma'am" and "sir"; thank you notes. My Mom would want me to include "The goodbye that never ends" but, no (sorry Mom). I would add saying "please" and "thank you" (vegoutmag.com/lifestyle/z-...)

Two contrasting experiences providing feedback recently.
Emailed Clarins, prompt acknowledgment of the issue I was facing and a solution was shipped. I had to chase because of delayed shipping but, when it arrived problem solved and I'll buy from Clarins again.

Imagine if there were regular US$5 million awards for courageous, honest reporting. That could incentivize truth-seeking and mitigate professional risk for journalists.

Exceptional times here with the flooding in the PNW but, if you have the tools, you should use them. WM's service alerts says "There are no service alerts active in your area". Collection was understandably not possible but what's the plan? Even a "please bear with us ..." would be useful.

I think it would be useful if Prometheus Exporters published a /docs endpoint, alongside /metrics, that explained motivations and provided PromQL and alerting examples. Otherwise, the /metrics endpoint can sometimes feel like a list of variables and values. (pretired.dazwilkin.com/posts/251204/)
