As far as turntables are concerned, I looked at Amazon.uk & Amazon.com and their seems to be little difference between the UK and US. In the 'suitcase' options it appears a bit cheaper in the US and the 'separates' slightly more expensive in the US, about 10% in this example.

From what I can gather, LPs and CDs are or should be exempt from tariffs as they fall under the informational materials exemption. It seems to be a bit of a lottery though as from what I can gather from my American friends, some get charged and some don't.

Google results for 'Vinyl Sales 2025' seem to overwhelmingly contradict that and indicate continuing growth. I've not slowed down and don't see that changing. Also seeing an increasing number of posts from people who have just bought their first record players is encouraging. UK anyway is doing OK.

I was, I was so excited and even though I checked the condition of the discs I didn't notice until I got home what they were.
