That's it mate. I get the clamour for a 'successful' EFC, but I can also remember going the game over the last 5 years not knowing when the next win will be and scrutinising the bottom of the table. We are not relegation fodder anymore, and not European football ready yet. This season is progress.

Gordon was bang average at EFC, how and more importantly why Newcastle thought he was worth spending that much on is still a footballing mystery. Fans thought it was sour grapes, us calling him shit, but it was really just fans who had watched him week in week out. I see Southampton in his future.
