I snagged four Dragonaire special arts this morning, as well as a Zapdos EX from 151. Stuff might drop lower, but I feel good about them. This is currently a $25 card. I easily see $40-60. I will probably pick up several more Ninetails and Articunos while the getting is very good.

I've been spreading out and picked up a handful of loose singles over the TCGPlayer sale. These are low-value cards I feel have significant upshot. I don't think short-term. I think most of these, in some cases (Ninetales, Articuno, Ivysaur) will grow. The art is fantastic and being overlooked.

This is one I'd like to see grow. The card value, too. :9 This is one of the best Houndoom arts they've done, probably the best! It's only $11! It's just a special illustration rare, but this should be $20-$25+. I picked up a few because I do believe this will appreciate. I might get a couple more.

Last weekend, TCGPlayer had a fantastic sale with 10% back in store credit. I've cut back on adding to my personal collection, but I really want a Jolteon with the crown and I'm thinking about it or Lillie's Clefairy. 👀

Yesss. They're so beautiful. The Sylveon V, I think is what really got me into collecting the alt arts. It's one I pulled from a pack, same with Umbreon V. They make me happy studying the art and thinking of the stories the illustrators imagined for each.

This is such a weird card. Dude's squatting taking a bong hit, I guess the "chef" is about to attack an onion with the blunt end of a giant knife that badly needs sharpened. I don't even know what's going on with Gengar. I think he's having a stroke and everyone's ignoring him.

This card is fucking... LOOK AT IT. This is one of my favorite cards I think ever! Am I crazy? Shut up. That is the joy of being a Pokemon Trainer. Everyone's gaga for Destined Rivals, and it is an amazing set, but the joyful cards I think are going to appreciate very well over time.

These are a few of my favorites I think are undervalued/slept on. Mega Lu is still a chonker at ~$200, but Ivysaur and the rest are $10 - $19. That art style for the Bulbasaur+ line of Mega Evolution cards is fantastic. Journey Together has some of the best art in the TCG and is being overlooked.

Next year if I can get things a little more together, I'd like to do something more creative with my collection. I have an Interesting Thought I may pursue. These are all reverse holos or better from 2016 up (mostly 2020 up). I have more. These aren't my good cards.
