the wild tree that covered 80% of the side of my house is now 90% gone. a few stumps & runners remain, plus this pile of what i removed. i hated removing it & promise to plant something intentional, native, & wildlife-friendly in its place.

that nightmare was still fvcking with my head, so i went outside to see if nature would clear my mind. Kylo & i went for little a walk through the woods. it’s nice outside 😊 i tried to get a pic of a woodpecker on a tree, but we scared it off. here’s the sun rising through the tree instead ☀️

went outside to see why Kylo was barking (deer) & saw that one of my azaleas has an autumn flower. a second tiny bud is peeking out from the blur in the back. thank you to Kylo & the white-tailed deer for the tiniest glimmer of hope.

so here are my toons. i have at least one of each race, but not each profession. i must have gotten bored with the Revenant & Engineer because they aren't leveled up. no Guardian & a free character slot so obviously i need either a Sylvari or Asura Guardian 🤔 😉

back in our Plumbobber Challenge gameplay, our heir, Ember, has aged up to teen. she rolled hipster as her fashion choice & i'm not familiar but did my best 😬 the teen plum she rolled was volunteering & she's quit the scouts as she had maxed it out, so there was no reason to stay.

I tried to sneak in a quick walk before today’s rain starts (remnants of TS Jerry). Kylo made it a long walk & a sniff-fari that lasted nearly an hour! he also found another eastern box turtle about halfway through. this is a new guy…markings are not the same as the last two 🐢 😊

i don't remember what the Plumbobber Challenge even was (I'll look it up in a sec). for now, i'm getting everyone settled in their new house - two bedrooms with two adults & three kids was no bueno. we are so far loving this great lot built by Aveline, so thank you to her! 😊
