I had a male a few years back that started singing in the spring before he departed. I was using the erm bathroom & I could hear a Blackcap singing 😁

Good choice, BHG 🍟👌
I may pay a visit to what was my first ever Caspian Gull. I saw it in 2020 waiting with a flock of BHGs for kids to chuck bread.
BHGs are a species that give & give, aren't they? I swear that I've only just noticed that sometimes when they call, they do it through a closed bill 🙃

Being a weirdo 😁👍
I very much enjoyed a chuckle with this Scaup yesterday.
I swear he'd found his equivalent to the bit on a dog that makes their leg go.
When he preened his flanks, nothing. But when he preened his belly, he wobbled from side to side 🙃

Ai, I avoid at all costs. Especially at a time like the present when we need to be consuming less energy. Add -ai to your online searches 👍

2 were very distant, a ♂️ & a ♀️ type. Maybe the bird that came close was the distant female/juvenile.
I should've got a snap of the bird in the clip as it was pretty close. But I'm an excitable idiot and I try to get passersby on the birds too 😅
Same with the Firecrest. So lucky to bump into one!

A lovely peaceful scene ✨️
When encountered in 'real life' too. You've captured it 🥰
