I don't think we have souls. Nothing like that. It's more 'personal consciousness' as a result of quantum interactions. The more capable our gray matter is of those interactions the more 'conscious' a species is (?) simply by quirks of evolution. Perhaps I don't have the words to explain properly

My hypothesis is actual AGI is impossible without full quantum computing. Human minds are made of quantum-based physical materials. LLM's/AI is based on binary. Not at all the same thing

I remember when McKays started their first store in a strip mall next to a Sam's Club. It was a single-width store that had seemingly every book in existence in it and I never dreamed they'd have HUGE spots in multiple cities LOL

They won't. They all live rich, full lives never having to worry about food or healthcare or housing or for the most part money. People at that level can't understood, or even conceive, of the difficulties of average people
