Rather than aggressively preforming anti-Torontonianism I suggest doing things like “looking up how many people live near Toronto”. Hell a majority of Canadians have been to B.C., much less educated ones

I have a theory that an underrated ingredient of Vancouver urbanism is that they kept building streetcar suburban neighbourhoods post war (just without the streetcars but with the narrower frontages and commercial strips)

ya, the numbers do look weird. I noticed earlier that the UK figure tops out at 22% in 1945 which I know to be inaccurate

the data sets exist for that they're just not packaged all in one big national file that would be a huge pain to use. For instance here's a screenshot from iMapBC of the provincial 20k roads file
