I thought the new Superman movie was fantastic. This film gives us the best cinematic version of Lex Luthor yet. He’s a tech-bro billionaire sociopath à la Musk, Thiel, and Bezos with a pinch of Zuckerberg.

Forty-two years ago today, this masterpiece was released. It marked Nicko McBrain's first collaboration with the band. The drum intro on the opening track Where Eagles Dare was the perfect introduction to Nicko’s dynamic style.

Tonight I attended a 20th anniversary screening of Episode 3 to take my mind off the state of the world. Maybe the story of a republic's downfall into tyranny at the hands of an authoritarian leader who undermines checks and balances to consolidate power wasn’t quite the sci-fi escapism I wanted.

I dropped Neila off at the airport this morning and came home to this wonderful surprise. She will never not make me laugh!

Tattoo Wizard @rawbcarter.bsky.social just added the latest piece to my dog sleeve—the best dog trio I’ve ever known, Wallace, Lola, and Betty. Though Lola and Wallace died in 2021 and 2022 respectively, they’ll now be with me until I die.

My all-time favorite indie game, Axiom Verge was released ten years ago. Single-handedly created by Thomas Happ, who designed it, coded it, and created all the pixel art and music, this Metroidvania title is a loving tribute to the golden age of NES and SNES games.

The Next Generation episode The Drumhead is, in my opinion, Star Trek at its best. It’s certainly timely.
