In 2011 I came to a conference held in this hall in the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas that convinced me I could probably give the whole tech speaking thing a go.
Perhaps it's idle sentimentality to take a photo of an empty convention centre hallway, but it feels important to me.

Spent some time organising all my subs before flying to to Kansas City tomorrow - it's hard out there, try pay if you can.

Always a useful reminder of the gulf of understanding between none technical people and software people.
