Just thinking about the Hughes trade. There is the potential for both teams to be losers in the deal. Vancouver has lost a truly great player. If Hughes doesn’t resign in Minnesota then they lose as well. In that case Vancouver has the better recovery.

Amazingly on that penalty Evans had a breakaway and bobbled the puck, then Rangers scored. Turnaround started. Habs have recover in the second.

I’m glad to see Xhekaj back in the lineup. I want to see him succeed as a big body deterrent. I don’t watch to see him fight. If necessary - OK. When I was growing up fighting was acceptable - at HS dances and games, on and off the ice. If you can’t beat them in the game beat them in the alley.
