I always thought it was 1965-1980 en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generat... So as one born in 64 I consider myself the last of the Boomer generation, not a GenX.

I've always thought they should change to the ISO 2-letter code. It works for domain names. Why not cars? Interestingly in India some people choose to have what they call a German number plate with IN surrounded by stars. But you can't drive an Indian car anywhere else so it's moot.
