just watched The Brood, never seen this but as a fan of Cronenberg it had to be done and it did not disappoint...a dark psychological body horror with a perfect classical style score, a great cast (look out for Robert A Silverman, he's great!) and a wonderfully nasty denouement, 4 out of 5 📽🎥

rewatching Casino and the scene where Sam chucks Ginger out might be one of the greatest cinematic arguments of all time, De Niro and Stone are fucking tremendous for those two minutes (they are for the whole film but phew, it's like you're there!)
