So, mostly status quo, but without the constant threat of cuts the system will be able to make long-term plans and invest in meaningful improvements. Transit prioritization is big deal!

Do you know if the transit measure is the “get worse more slowly”, “stay the same”, or “get better” version?

I remember seeing a long time ago that those were the options, when looking at how much money to raise.

Don’t get me wrong, that thing has led me astray, Iike the green beans it had me basically deep fry in butter

Yes but the thing is, I neither know nor care about French cuisine!

I just want something that I and whoever I’m with will want to eat.

As pissed off as I get I have some empathy because I know that there’s a large extent to which it’s driving itself that makes people go insane. Just gotta keep soldiering on building a world with fewer cars.

Happened to me doing drop off when west street path was closed at Delaware for a week. Had to go around, lady passed me at a 4-way stop! With other cars at the intersection and me making a complete stop!

No question insurrection act is coming.

Only real question is what actual professional soldiers will do when ordered to defend brutal morons from soccer moms and priests.

Ah we did not do it that way, coverage would have been practically free near the bottom of the income ladder anyway, it was more around middle incomes that you really felt it, where the coverage was way too expensive and not very covering. Still like that.
January 14, 2026 at 2:39 AM
That’s basically how our system works if you buy coverage directly, the problem is the federal subsidies are too low. They tried a nominal fee for not being covered and it do not go well.

It is very weird to have a charter officer that nonetheless reports to the city council.
