Does he say what particular values he means?

I read a very depressing discussion on LinkedIn (I know but it's like looking at a car crash) between oil industry folk explaining that it's only, say, a 1% increase in UK emissions. It's like they're deliberately missing the point that increase = bad.

And he saw her. And didn't use the whole lane when passing the other cyclists. Reporting of cyclists being killed by drivers is a joke.

I love your optimism that banks won't be dicks and will stop requiring daft bits of paper.

I was just thinking that. I wonder if I murder someone if the judge will give me community service as it's my first offence.

I've had more pleasant journeys on Ryanair, with better leg room, and not been rinsed with the cost.

'Relatively safe'?! 'A small price to pay'?!

I agree with everything other than flashing modes as I think they help, particularly in daylight or in urban areas. They could be replaced by the need to have a pulsing mode or something more amenable to group riding though.

Trying to hark back to the days of Thomas the Cherry-scented Tank Engine aren't they? Anti-social morons.

They could easily take out a lane of parked cars or that right turn lane. Our obsession with cars is suppressing free enterprise!

At his age I'd have thought that was the coolest thing in the world!
June 14, 2025 at 4:51 PM
This gets on my goat. The answer is enforcement of current laws not frothing! But then they struggle to enforce the current laws for cars.

The problem is that it's one oppressed group crowing about 'victory' over another, ignoring the elephant in the room that it's CIS males who are the problem, not trans people. It's divisive and not what the country needs just now. It's the same as the moral panic over Section 28.
April 27, 2025 at 6:27 PM
What about trans rights then? And benefits cuts?

They don't surface when out on patrol so camouflage not needed.

It's the way the Oxford PPE think tankers talk so casually about people's jobs like that which disturbs me.

If that's what they think a zit looks like then I think they should probably go to their doctor!
