We are agreeing on that point. In a perfect world, the CFP committee wouldn't release rankings week to week like it does the second half of the season. Make the final selections after all is said and done.

I can't defend that, either. I am NOT a Bama fan; I am simply critical of how the system is (not) working because the NCAA wants an odd mix of rankings and conf title games...and it does not work.
December 7, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Maybe not. But that is a separate (though reasonable) argument. Whatever we may think, that is where they were placed.
December 7, 2025 at 7:42 PM
If Alabama hadn't made the SEC title game and was just sitting at 9, this isn't an issue. Correct? So explain how this truth is a hole I have dug.
December 7, 2025 at 7:26 PM
But then why were they ranked #9? In essence, thise rankings are standings. So the team in 9th place had to
play against the team in 3rd place in order to make the playoffs over the team that is in 11th place? Make that make sense.
December 7, 2025 at 7:17 PM
You think I am making a case for or against Alabama. I'm not. I am
making a case against them being placed in that situation. That said, should I line up others who disagree with Ingram?

Like I stated in a separate post: all
if it is messy and nonsensical
December 7, 2025 at 6:50 PM
achilles?
December 7, 2025 at 6:48 PM
Bottom line is, a team solidly in the playoff should not lose their spot to a team sitting at home because they lost a conf title game. the NCAA and the conferences are and have always been about $ and not what makes sense. In some cases, a higher seed is having to play a play-in game.

Also...reunites with Daniel Craig in Wake Up Dead Man.
December 7, 2025 at 6:34 PM
What part is wrong? Maybe BYU should have refused its invitation to the B12 title game and they'd be in? No sport in America is as corrupt and stupid as college football and you know it.
December 7, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Likely, yes
December 7, 2025 at 6:18 PM
I hate 'bama but they were forced to play an extra game, as was BYU. A lot of things can be true at the same time: the system is a mess, it wants conf title games but punishes its participants, and ND lurks around without any of that, which is also a mess. 🤷🏻‍♂️
December 7, 2025 at 6:17 PM
That discourse should be every day! 😉
December 7, 2025 at 5:44 PM
ND did this to themselves by refusing to join a conference.
December 7, 2025 at 5:41 PM
I am not knocking either team, but the playoff system is a mess because the NCAA wants these confernce title games, which are stupid and unnecessary...and maybe just cost Indiana its best WR.
December 7, 2025 at 5:37 PM
The CFP sysem has been chaos since day one.
December 7, 2025 at 6:01 AM
Did Miami or Notre Dame have to play this week? Asking for a friend.
December 7, 2025 at 5:59 AM
Where did I say that? But since you brought it up, do you think every Jew supports Netanyahu? Actually, don't answer. You've played your hand.
December 5, 2025 at 2:08 AM
Didn't you know? Fighting for those things was all "woke" and "DEI" before it was ever known as that. 🤷🏻‍♂️

so much for less regulation

And I'll just leave it as this (nite the criticims of how casual the term "brainwashing" is thrown around.): theconversation.com/the-brainwas...
The brainwashing myth
Forty years ago, Rebecca Moore’s two sisters helped plan the Jonestown massacre. But she refuses to say they were brainwashed, arguing that it prevents us from truly understanding their behavior.

And the same Hamas that blew up the Oslo Accords that would have created a peaceful, two-state solution.
