Because of external factors, this weekend’s Gist came out on Tuesday.

So if you got a chance to hit repost that would be very helpful.

It’s on Patrick O’Donovan’s plans to implement Meta’s preferred form of ‘regulation’, but also to make it worse.

Whenever a footballer raises their head up and uses their profile to raise awareness about an issue, they're shouted down for politicising the game and told to stick to football. Could this flaccid excuse of a man be any more political and any less interested in actual football?
Infantino said this isn’t “a normal draw”

That was at least thing said on stage that was true

There were moments that approached propaganda, especially in the highly politicised interpretations to justify Trump’s Peace Prize - a debasing of football

I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.

Trump went out of his way to repeatedly and explicitly warn every American voter what he was going to do if he got back into power - and they voted for him anyway. It would be hard not to feel a certain sense of schadenfreude if it weren't for the fallout beyond American borders.
Enten: "This is probably the worst 10 day period for the president in the polls his entire second term. The numbers are just atrocious ... when your best poll has you 14 points underwater, you know it's truly bad and it's as bad as 26 points underwater ... -43 with independents! They despise him."

This is one of the most challenging articles I've read in a while. The darkness and exploitation detailed here is quite distressing.
