Hello mate -- this podcast is free (only the ad-free one is paid)! I also work really hard to make sure it's different to the one I do with Sam Lee, which is also why he's very rarely on Blue Moon Podcast so there's not so much cross-over. Blue Moon does far more nostalgia and featurey stuff, too.

It's a difficult time for independent podcasts because of the sheer weight of competition that is out there, and we rely on word of mouth as much as anything to build the audience. So much work goes into the episodes and surviving on ad revenue means we need as many ears on the show as we can.

You'd have thought two people who watch City week in week out might have considered that, but we like to keep people guessing 😂
