Authoritarianism is, almost by definition, a form of minority rule. It takes relatively few well-positioned people, obeyed by men eager to be violent, to operate a tyranny.

I don’t know and may not be qualified to say. My sense, from the outside, is that all Jews may not be united, and the thing that divides them may be the very land you ably describe as the point of origin of Judaism and Jewry.
