Looks strong on what surface?

Jobs?

Inflation?

Consumer confidence?

Unreleased economic indicators?

Amazingly our fiscal policy choice is tariffs, which have the potential to simultaneously slow growth and increase prices.

Trump is ostensibly pursuing other objectives, but those have consequences.

Would you start White, Mosquera, Hincapie, and MLS in one of our 3 matches next week? Should we actually rotate against Bayern?

If Gabriel or Calafiori are injured after today we may be forced to do more than that... maybe assume they are available for this thought exercise...

The deep squad is both preventative and insurance.
• More rotation reduces injuries
• Some injuries are not due to load (e.g. Odegaard's shoulder)

Worry is if someone is hurt, their "buddy" now takes on more burden & risk. With Havertz out, Gyokeres had to play too much. Still isn't perfect...

Yeah I guess I was stating the obvious

Sadly they may have increased the odds. I love soccer but FIFA is a corrupt old boys club.

And he should not have been suspended.

NBC just showed that from a few angles. Robertson was to the side of the keeper.
- not in front of him
- no obvious action

Seems like the wrong call to me.

Within 10 yards of the box I would prefer a free kick unless we have a clear shot. We are decent at dead balls this year.

As you were saying…

My friend who is about the same age as me (50s) just calls everyone kid. It does simplify things.

The core idea: your job as a leader is to expand what's possible across three dimensions:
• People (raise potential)
• Team (maximize performance)
• Culture (accelerate progress).

Magic happens when these align with strategy.

Let me sum it up:

US lost $12B in soybean purchases and got $72M one time purchase

All China “promised” is not binding, and is an interpretation of what you understood

You lowered tariffs by 10% after you hiked them to 157%, but forgot and said it’s 57%

TAIWAN? 🦗. China continues business with 🇷🇺

Especially in the context of him winning a free kick.

I put this in a category of things which need periodic refreshing to see if they are still current and useful.

Other similar things:
• Vision
• Organizational structure
• Recurring meetings

This is particularly timely, as often an update to these things fits well with annual planning.
