R.I.P President Jimmy Carter. He was the first president that I clearly remember. He actually passed through my hometown of Buffalo, Ia. during his 1976 presidential campaign. He and his wife were on either the Delta Queen or Mississippi Queen River boat and traveling up the Mississippi River. (1)
