This closure plus the one at St Mark's Park show that @edinburghcouncil.bsky.social still does not prioritise active travel. That's two key routes for me knackered until January!
Ferry Road Path CLOSED to pedestrians and cyclists from today to 16 January for installation of a security fence at Leonardo. TTRO closure order was signed on Wednesday with the below diversion: www.edinburgh.gov.uk/downloads/fi... #EdTravCyc @spokes.org.uk @edi.bike

I had thought about going to the pub to watch but decided that I didn't want to share another glorious failure with lots of folk. Was I right?

Beautiful autumn morning for another @wolct.bsky.social task. A 'productive' litter picking session along the Bell's meadow/Coltbridge stretch as well as some of the cycle path. Rewarded with a brilliant sighting of a Kingfisher.

A fun morning wading in the Bavelaw Burn with fellow @wolct.bsky.social volunteers. Managed to get a hole in my waders so ended up with a wet left foot but we did get out a good deal of litter including a flag pole found by yours truly.
