The highlight of #DragonsteelNexus had to be the Worldhoppers Ball. My daughter has dreamed of attending a royal ball since she was little, so it was super fun to kind of be able to take her to one.

The Story Deck cards ended up being a fun "collection" game. Gorgeous art on the back of the cards that combines into a larger picture. I managed to get all of the cards thankfully, to the point that I was trying to replace my normal cards with the foil version as much as I could. #DragonsteelNexus

The "convention game" this year at #DragonsteelNexus consisted of a "passport" that you get stamped whenever you complete an activity (like going to a panel). And for every page of the passport you complete, you get a pack of Story Deck cards. It sounds a little strange, but I had a GREAT time.

Cosplay is an expected component of conventions like #DragonsteelNexus , but sometimes you come across something that truly amazes you. This was one of those moments for me. This BRIGHTLY glowing shardplate was just awesome.
