Working in the Belah near Dubbo today. Heaps of great birds including lots of Painted Honeyeaters, which were feasting on the Buloke Mistletoe. Budgies, cockatiels and big woodswallow flocks also a highlight.

Went to Norway and saw some Magpies. Pretty good, but I prefer my magpies to be more violent.

Got bogged the other month while spotlighting - confirmed I definitely shouldn’t have been driving in there when I found a shield shrimp swimming around 🤦♂️
