It's worse still: All this refers to a relatively benign section near the start of the speech, but the malevolent words are at the end. The 54 minute gap thing is a deliberate red herring. The call to fight like hell" and the call to walk to the capitol are 4 sentences apart in the closing remarks:

The 54 minute gap thing is a red herring. Although the BBC clip used a phrase from early in the speech, the call to walk to the Capitol is also repeated in the closing remarks, adjacent to the call to "fight like hell". It is the account of the edit that is misleading.

I looked across to this peak from Nairamdal - the summit at the border tripoint between Mongolia, Russia and China on 3rd August 2008. Were you there for the eclipse on 1st August?

Swiss plugs have shutters too, but the Swiss design also has the advantage that it’s not possible to do what Tom does in your video at 0:45. And this strip is half the size of a UK 5 plug strip.

The UK is still generating most of its electricity from fossil fuels during anticyclonic conditions in winter when there is neither sun nor wind. Relatively little is imported. Is there a reason the UK is not already importing much more in such situations?
