Another key disadvantage over Core Data much less control over CloudKit sharing, if you need it; incidentally this also means you need to write much less code 😀

I am writing a new SwiftData-based app, and so far I had no problems whatsoever. One caveat, when you update the models you need to implement migrations, while in Core Data simple changes do not require them.

Same on the M4. I think it’s really a UI/UX problem, you can’t tell the difference between a compiler suggestion and an an AI suggestion, and AI suggestions are mostly wrong ☹️

It’s also make it much more readable. As if those Mac OS X designers we onto something 😉
