If (when) Democrats gain the House majority, elect a new Speaker ASAP - so when Trump and Vance are out (via impeachment or the 25th Amendment), a Democrat is next in the order of succession.

So Dems, talk to Republicans in private and work with them to get broad Republican support.

If enough people cancel their cable TV subscriptions, and if this causes the end of Fox News (and the other conservative channels), democracy's chances of survival will improve.

But the disinformation and lies promulgated by Fox News and other so-called conservative channels are making it difficult for democracy to survive.

I also realize that this will reduce the income for other cable channels, and may make it difficult for cable TV channels and cable TV companies to survive.
