Nope, here's what Chris actually had to say about it:

It’s Come To This
Since “updates” can usually get lost in the noise, the most recent updates are put first.

Pretty sure the witnesses siding with Chris made the accusers do that. Like this one, actually a friend of both of the accusers:

I do provide sources. Here's one of the statements made under penalty of perjury by a witness who was friends with both of the accusers.

It's worth noting that he didn't want the female characters in Alpha Protocol to even be romanceable, but the project director forced it on him:

Which women characters from other writers did you think were written well in Obsidian games?

The allegations were retracted after also being denied by witnesses.

And that wasn't a press document for Torment, it was the vision doc sent to management & marketing people at Interplay before they approved the project, so it had to speak their language. The actual game had a very different tone.

I'm a decent person so I can make up for all the people who aren't.

Isn't Santa Claus supposed to be Finnish? If they airstrike him, we'll just end up with a revenge story like this one:

He's not. He was just making a joke, but doesn't have a good opinion of AI:

He didn't say that. He just made one AI meme as a joke, but doesn't actually like generative AI:

He didn't extort them. They created the situation by: 1) making tweets and writing private messages in the past about how nothing bad had happened at those conventions; 2) going back on those claims later on to instead claim things that the people who were looking right at them didn't see happen.

What else did he do?
December 19, 2025 at 9:35 AM
The witness statements, like this one, are worth a read too:
December 19, 2025 at 7:15 AM
I think it's a shame that your opinion of someone can be ruined by another person willing to invent things about them, especially when those things are later retracted.
December 19, 2025 at 6:30 AM
They were retracted when none of the witnesses backed them up, remember?

You should stop accusing him of something that didn't happen:

He's not pushing for it, he was just making a joke. He doesn't actually like gen AI in games.

As for the accusations, they were from friends of a former girlfriend upset about his break-up with her and were retracted when none of the witnesses backed them up:

He was just making a joke. He doesn't really approve of generative AI in games:

Pointing out the allegations without pointing out how they turned out is misleading:
