Oh, there's even more. Even more unhinged. Posted on the other place. Now is the worst time to be posting misinformation about immigration and asylum
October 18, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Whatever you think of the SNP in Glasgow, some remarks from Scottish Labour MPs who should know better, have been embarrassing.
This today, incorrectly claiming SNP housing policies have any impact on asylum cases which is reserved to Westminster and dealt with by Home Office contractors, is mince.

The Scottish Conservatives insist the party is not pandering to Reform and the misinformation Nigel Farage is spreading over immigration.
Tories using their Holyrood debate time for this tomorrow.

From today's NHS Fife employment tribunal hearing. A reminder nurse Sandie Peggie was suspended by NHS Fife over complaints she harassed and bullied transgender doctor Beth Upton, not over access to single sex spaces.

Well, Donald Trump has landed in Scotland
July 25, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Hundreds of folk by the runway at Prestwick Airport awaiting the arrival of UK President Donald Trump on Air Force One. No big protests so far, but a couple of MAGA fanatics. Mostly a lot of locals wanting to get a glimpse of Trump.

Also worth remembering this when 'gender critical' campaigners go for journalists and others who dare to suggest both sides of the 'debate' have been hostile.
July 18, 2025 at 9:14 PM
A reminder the NHS Fife employment tribunal many are losing their minds over is not about whether trans people should use certain bathrooms, it was about allegations of bullying and harassment against a trans doctor. Despite campaigners claiming differently, it's not up to NHS Fife to drop the case.

Bleak stuff at first glance in the Scottish Government's medium-term financial strategy. Ministers facing a £2.6bn budget deficit by 2030.
"Without action, the difference between projected funding and estimated spending is set to grow from a balanced budget in 2025-26, to £2.6 billion in 2029-30."

A Scottish Labour press officer has brought a "humble pie" for the Scottish media who it is claimed, wrote off the party's chances of winning the by-election. (Tecnically it is an apple flan).

Anas Sarwar launches a final push ahead of the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse by-election tomorrow with Scottish Labour candidate Davey Russell. Only interruption from one member of the public shouting "what will you do for the Waspi women".
June 4, 2025 at 9:40 AM
Oh my word. Little wonder why Scottish Labour's candidate for the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse by-election, Davy Russell, has not been doing the media rounds or taking part in any debates. A hard watch. (STV/Scotland Tonight)
