I don’t agree with the final conclusion necessarily, but this part for sure. He is afraid of something bigger than any of this, something personal.

So let me get this straight, Musk knew Trump is terrible and was in the Epstein files but he made him president anyway?

I was more surprised he didn’t crash the economy in his first 100 days of the first term.

Voters are somehow surprised it’s “chaotic” seriously. I mean how do we have such short memories?

If a law firm won't risk everything to defend itself, what makes you think it will risk anything to defend you?

My advice: Find a law firm that will not back down and will never bend a knee.

If you haven't heard of Cultivation Theory before, it's pretty interesting. Professor James Shanahan tells us about it.

CALL FOR GUESTS for this new era. Acts of civic courage—small and large. Stories of unlikely alliances—people who politically disagree but are working together to resist authoritarian capture. Better media models with narratives of hope, democratic values, and tangible alternatives.

We have to be able to do something to shame Bezos with "free markets and personal liberties". Come on Meme geniuses.

This, this what we want
1. Show up. Go to the places Musk is taking over, bring cameras, demand to find out what's going on and where it breaks the law.
2. Refuse to allow standard business to continue unimpeded. Deny unanimous consent, delay votes, etc.
3. Be public about how illegal all of this is
4. Lay out a plan

Has congress passed a law superseding or eliminating the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961?

Has the Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional?

Then why are journalists reporting that Trump and Musk are "shutting down" USAID. They are not authorized to do so.

Never in their wildest nightmare would anyone have predicted back then that America would one day elevate this idiot to be its first dictator, and do so after and despite the fact that he orchestrated an attack on the Capitol

Project 2025 suggested autocracy would take 100 days. With Musk / Trump in charge of doj purge and payment distribution systems, looks like it only took two weeks.

In our fractured world, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and question whether our individual actions matter. From my latest piece on finding purpose amidst despair.
"The question isn’t whether we can single-handedly fix the world’s problems, but whether we can live with ourselves if we stop trying."
